Hudson Garden Grill at Botanical

Hudson Garden Grill offers a farm-to-table dining experience that is surrounded by the beauty of a botanical garden. As you enter the New York Botanical Garden, and make your way to the right towards the grill, you are visually treated with views of lush low-cut greeneries, draping trees, and pops of floral plants. You start to imagine all the beautiful weddings that took place throughout the years, and what that must have been like during each season.

Upon entering the grill, you'll notice how light and airy it is. High ceilings complimented with arched windows that extends your views into the garden, and tables setup for a fine-dining ambiance.

For this restaurant feature, I started off with the cosmic cruditě served in a small bowl with hummus, and sculpted veggies like baby carrot, along with radish, crispy quinoa, and chickpeas. It was a beautiful (healthy-looking) presentation. Then it was time for another dish, the Local Lioni Burrata & Prosciutto. This dish was another dish that was presented nicely. It had roasted peaches, cherry tomatoes, basil oil and black sea salt. Very delish. Third dish, well, this was a big n' hearty one. A juicy burger with fries topped the tasting experience off to a world of sensory delight.. buttermilk-fried, tempura batter... bacon jam with BG (Botanical Garden) sauce. Of all three, the burger was my favorite.

DRINKS
For the drinks, three cocktails were sampled.

Strawberry Lime Ricky
• vodka...served in tall glass garnished with lime slice ....a refreshing summer garden dining drink

Mint Julip Mule
• whiskey....mint agave, candy ginger, ginger beer and lemon....if you are a fan of moscow mule you'll enjoy this drink

Virgin Cucumber Refresher
• non-alcoholic cooler with cucumber slices

So there you have it, dining at Hudson Garden Grill is a botanical experience to enjoy as you make your way throughout the garden grounds....2900 Southern Blvd, Bronx NY.

Until next, thanks for reading.
