Parsons Benefit Fashion
The 2021 Parsons Benefit took place on June 15 at Pier 17 in New York City to celebrate Parsons’ 125th anniversary. The event honored celebrities and successful fashion leaders and innovators, including Jeff Gennette, Angela Ahrendts DBE, Gabriela Hearst, Kerby Jean-Raymond, Travis Scott, and Carrie Mae Weems. Considering the benefit was such a fashion-oriented event, of course, there were plenty of great looks from the night. For example, Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner, and their daughter, Stormi Webster, looked stunning as they all posed together on the red carpet. Ever since the event, there has been plenty of talk regarding whether Scott and Jenner are back together, but their outfits are what really deserves the attention. Jenner looked sexy and stylish in a green curve-hugging vintage 1987 midi-length dress by Jean Paul Gaultier. She also rocked a matching pair of long, sheer green gloves, beautiful earrings and rings by Lorraine Schwartz, and pointy transparent heels. Scott looked just as fashionable in a monochromatic black outfit consisting of slacks, a top, and a fitted jacket with matching black shoes. He also wore black south sea pearls by Lorraine Schwartz. Stomi looked adorable in a little black dress, blue and white Nike sneakers, and a Lorraine Schwartz bracelet.
Kerby Jean-Raymond was another fashion standout in an all black and white ensemble styled by Eric Mcneal in Gucci, according to his Instagram. He wore a solid white button-down top under a fitted black jacket with wide lapels, along with black slacks and matching black shoes. He also wore just the right amount of jewelry to add a little pop of sparkle to the look without overpowering the classy outfit. The beautiful Elaine Welteroth also looked breathtaking. Although Welteroth was not there to receive an award, she and her husband Jonathan Singletary were happy to cheer on Kerby Jean-Raymond.
Styled by Jason Rembert, Welteroth brought the perfect mixture of elegance and glamour in a long dark mermaid-style dress with bold, feathery straps by ALIÉTTE, Rembert’s brand. Her long earrings were the perfect accessory to complete her look. Many celebrities and fashionistas seemed to enjoy this event, and there is no doubt that the fashion was incredible.
